Brief Summary of role:

This role will be an individual contributor to be part of the development squad for Copado’s Essential’s DevOps application for the Salesforce platform. Copado Essentials has a rapidly growing global user base of over 10,000 enthusiastic users. We like to say that Salesforce DevOps starts with Copado Essentials. Essentials provides a simple, fast way for Salesforce developers to select and deploy Salesforce metadata between orgs. The premium edition, called Essentials+, adds version control to provide small development teams with the ability to detect merge conflicts, roll back changes, and a record for audit purposes. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Design & engineer elegant, yet scalable DevOps solutions that delight our users.
• Bring an “AI first” mindset to product development and product features.
• Ensure quality assurance by setting standards for unit tests, security tests and automated UI tests.
• Support and maintain Essentials software releases and AWS infrastructure. Work with the development team to ensure system reliability & performance.
• Partner with the Product team to align on features, build plan and product roadmap.

We are looking for someone with:

• Passionate about software engineering craftsmanship.
• Demonstrated ability to write secured, modular, clean and well tested code.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns.
• Fast learner with an interest to solve challenging problems at scale.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience at innovative and fast-paced organizations.
• Fluency in Java and the related ecosystem.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Experience with modern Javascript framework (ie. Angular, React) is a plus.
• Experience using and developing AI solutions is a plus.
• Experience with building scalable web-based Saas products is a plus.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and scaling operations is a plus.
• Open source contribution is a plus.
• Proficient in both verbal and written English communication skills
