Brief Summary of Role

Technical writers at Copado create informative content that empower customers to understand and get the most of our products. We collaborate closely with other departments and subject-matter experts, such as product managers, engineers and the UX team, to produce high-quality information and learning modules about our products. Therefore, we are looking for a skilled and versatile Technical Writer to join our Academy team. This role is crucial in creating and maintaining high-quality and engaging learning modules that effectively teach users about Copado products and features.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creation of content for Copado products and features:

• Create clear, concise, and user-friendly content on Copado products that effectively teach users about Copado products.
• Maintain and update existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with product managers and subject matter experts to gather and understand complex technical information, translating it into learner-friendly content.
• Contribute to the development of content creation standards and best practices for the Academy team.

Development of supplementary learning materials:

• Create supporting materials such as quizzes and other hands-on exercises to reinforce learning.
• Develop tutorial videos and video scripts.
• Design infographics and other visual aids to enhance the learning experience.

Other learning-related tasks:

• Analyze learner feedback and performance data to identify areas for improvement in the modules.
• Handle Academy cases to help users with any potential problems during module completion.
• Help handling coupons creation and trial org access.

We Are Looking for Someone With

• Experience documenting software for technical audiences.

• Experience in creating technical e-learning content, preferably in the software industry.

• Bachelor's degree in a writing, communications, instructional design, education or technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• An excellent written English level.
• The ability to simplify and transform complex technical information into easily digestible content.

• Strong understanding of learning principles and different learning styles.

• Audience sensitivity to tailor content to different audience needs.
• High standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Assertiveness and proactiveness to work on the assigned projects.
• Excellent research skills.
• Strong task management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously under established deadlines.
• Experience with technical writing tools and software, and learning management systems.
• Adaptability to new tools and technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
